APPOST SERVICE

We are pleased to announce Kalaam Media’s (KM) newly established APPOST service supporting the creation and publication to individual national Google Play Stores accounts of SAB, RAB and DAB based apps.  The APPOST service is offered to any entity desiring to create and/or publish a SAB, RAB or DAB based app. The service provides the following:

1.      

Establishment and maintenance of individual national Google Play Store accounts in the countries of the world for use by KM and clients of KM’s service. Where an account has not been established for a specific country KM will establish one at the request of a client.

2.      

App building for clients, when requested, using SAB, RAB and DAB, where the client is responsible for providing required KM specified inputs.

3.      

Assistance to clients in meeting the administrative requirements associated with publishing a SAB, RAB and DAB app to a Google Play Store.

4.      

Services offered to clients are provided at no cost to the client including any fees associated with the Google Play Stores.

5.      

The entity used by KM to publish apps in the Google Play Store for a given country is the “Internet Publishing Service.” Other arrangements are available to meet the unique needs of specific clients.

Following are the requirements a client must support to use the APPOST service to publish apps to a national Google Play Store account:

1.      

If you already have created an app using SAB, RAB or DAB, you may send us the app project files and we will publish them to the Google Play Store you specify. If you haven’t created an app yet, or need help to create one, we will create a new app for you with the files you provide us. Please note that we only support the creation of apps using SAB, RAB and DAB and we do not support the creation of custom apps using any other technology.

2.      

You must specify the Google Play Store country to which the apps are to be published.

3.      

The package name of the app must be supplied by you, or created in coordination with KM, and will be modified to suit the national Google Play Store account it is going to be published to.

4.      

When you need to publish an update to your app, you can either send us the latest app project, or the latest .sfm, .lift, or .docx files, depending on the type of the app. All future updates will be handled in this manner.

5.      

You must provide the Play Store Listing information in your preferred language(s). This can be added in the app project in SAB under Publishing > Google Play Store Listing, or can be shared with us through e-mail, Dropbox or Google Drive. If you need help in providing any of the items listed below, we will be happy to assist you.

Icon for your app in high resolution (512 x 512 pixels in PNG format)

Feature Graphic (1024 x 500 pixels in JPEG or PNG format)

6.      

We will work with you to sign a copyrights permission form for the app(s) you wish to have published.

7.      

KM’s keystore file will be used to sign apps. We will also maintain a secure copy of your app project on our servers as backup.

8.      

KM will pay all fees for the national Google Play Store account.

9.      

KM will provide access to the account allowing you to respond to user’s feedback and comments.

10.  

KM will provide access to the analytics associated with your app(s)

11.  

If there is a technical issue with the app, we will work with you to fix it.
